Testimonials
On 16th May 2024, Snehal and Shamili had a conversation with my students on the day to day, professional lives of psychologists.
They addressed each question with a lot of sensitivity and candour and were extremely appreciative of all the questions asked. Their answers were invitations for students to take the conversation forward and the students too felt safe asking the same. I do hope that the Cozyhope team introduces programs for high school students in the future as students will get a first-hand experience of the personhood of the psychologist which is integral to the experience of working as a professional.
Looking forward to more such gatherings and endeavours

"We have had a wonderful experience with Cozyhope who conducted an impactful gender workshop. The knowledgeable and passionate trainers brought in an excellent level of nuance and professionalism. The workshop was bespoke and they spent a lot of time planning it with us, understanding our circumstances and the team that they would be working with. The workshop provided a safe space for open dialogue and self-reflection on gender identity and inclusivity. The trainers skillfully blended theory with real-world examples, fostering an inclusive environment for diverse participants. The interactive nature of the workshop, including engaging activities and discussions, allowed for deep personal connections to the material. I highly recommend Cozyhope for those seeking to understand gender dynamics and contribute to a more inclusive society"

“I have known Snehal since our training days at Parivarthan in 2010. It’s wonderful to have witnessed her journey not just as a skilled and capable therapist but also one who is committed to following an ethical practice in her way of working.
Snehal is a passionate individual who is invested in continuous education to upgrade her skill. She has accumulated a wide range of experience in working with people of different ages, sexuality and relationship status, coming with varied challenges. She has helped them to navigate their journey and come to healthier places of resolution, which is a mirror to her empathetic and non-judgemental skills.
Snehal is strong enough to bring her authentic self to her relationships. She does not shy away from sharing her vulnerabilities or challenges. This I believe is a core competency that a therapist needs to have if they are going to offer a healthy and safe space to co-journey with their clients.”

"I worked with Snehal previously for around five years. Snehal is someone who is dedicated to her clients. She is ethical and offers high-standard therapy. I have seen that she gives great importance to her clients’ needs and priorities safeguarding the needs of her clients. I remember when she was going on a break, she made sure that her clients handed over to other therapists. This shows how she always puts the needs of her clients first.
During our work together, she always brought in new dimensions during our group supervisions which were really valuable. She would always take initiatives. Overall, she is fun, approachable and sensitive.”

“If I were to describe Shamili as a therapist, I would use the following attributes – deeply empathetic, insightful, authentic, kind and invested in her clients’ stories. She’s very cognizant of boundaries and ethical considerations in her practice and committed to the process of supervision and continuing education, always with the intention of doing right by her clients. She has an innate ability to hold space for her clients to deep dive into anything that they might want to bring up in sessions. Her attention to the progress of therapy and the way she holds herself up for scrutiny is something I deeply respect.
There are many things that resonate with me about the way Shamili is as a person and as a therapist. One of it is her deep commitment to her clients, appreciation of diversity and cultural nuances and her authenticity. Working with Shamili has always been and will be a pleasure. I have learnt a lot from her and her energy and spirit never fail to enervate me! I also respect her thoughtfulness, her ability to reflect and her curiosity.”
“Snehal as a therapist is very compassionate, deeply reflective, empathetic, sensitive to the nuances of clients’ narratives and insightful. She’s committed to her clients’ needs and is flexible in her approach whenever the need arises. I also appreciate how she is able to be deeply honest about herself and the ability to examine her own thought processes. She is able to provide a safe space for clients to bring in all of themselves without worrying about judgement. She is also extremely scrupulous about maintaining client confidentiality and is mindful of boundaries.
I really enjoy working with Snehal and the way she brings up different perspectives. What resonates the most with me about Snehal is her ability to be congruent and honest. I enjoy her sense of humour and her ability to be creative in her approach when the need arises.”

“Snehal and I did our training from the same institute and that is how I know her.
Snehal is a very empathetic and kind person, which is imperative for a profession like ours. She is very focused, meticulous in taking her records and in her research after she has met with a client. Her language is very comfortable and easy which enables her to relate to her clients and makes the person she is speaking with very comfortable.
She is very focused and good at her practice and is able to journey with her clients through multiple sessions. Her style of work is essentially very client-centric and she goes according to the requirement of the client at that particular time.
She is quite an example for ethical therapy which enriches her practice and makes one feel enriched by the methods that she follows. She is very non judgemental of one’s choices, background and gender and offers complete gender neutrality.
Her perspective is wide and she is always spot on, and she has been quite an inspiration.”

“I met Snehal while doing a course with Parivarthan. I have known her closely for a long time since 2009.
She is an empathetic and sensitive person. She is able to understand what's happening with anyone very quickly. She is very professional when it comes to her work. She manages her various roles very well. I admire her as a person. She is strongly ethical in her work. This is a value that resonates with me and I share with her. She cares immensely for others and has an empathetic view towards everyone. She is someone who would stand with people at the time of need.
I am impressed by Snehal’s interest and achievements in her career as a successful chemistry lecturer and teacher and her training work in diverse mental health areas.”

“I first met Snehal at a workshop we were both attending. I remember noticing her questions to the facilitator and thinking about the depth of her reflective capacity. Since then we have shared many clients together, done other interesting training workshops together and I’ve also seen her work more closely as her supervisor.
She is tenacious, lively, responsible, reflective, gentle. Whenever I refer a client to Snehal I feel reassured that they are in good hands. She is able to engage with the client at their level and gently nurture them out of their difficulty. She has a wide repertoire of skills and has shown the ability to engage all age groups from reticent little children, to rebellious teenagers, to traumatised adults. Even when she hits a roadblock, she has the capacity to reflect on her limitations, be honest with her clients and seek the right kind of support that will bring about the best outcome for them. Snehal has a strong sense of ethics and knows how to maintain boundaries while still providing the best care for her clients.
I am very fortunate and proud to have Snehal as a colleague and hope to continue working with her for many years to come.”

“Shamili and I have been a part of the same peer supervision since sometime, where I have witnessed her honesty in bringing difficult nuances with gentleness.
Shamili is a Safe, Thoughtful, Learner, Reflective and Collaborative therapist. She actively works towards co-creating a safe, non-judgemental, ethical and empathetic space while challenging, bringing difficult conversations with care, and understands the true value of ‘timing’ in therapy. Her important value in not pushing people too hard yet also pushing them to see what might be helpful to see, is a skill that comes with self-work.
She also actively engages in learning through courses, books, and other fellow therapists while keeping the client at the center. I have seen her engage in ethical practice by understanding what the client needs, and how they can be supported and challenged. Sometimes that means drawing relational boundaries, sometimes that can mean practicing thoughtful self-disclosure. She understands that every client is different with unique needs, desires, hopes, and complexities.
One value that Shamili and I both focus on is – doing self-work, because without that, the work with our clients can feel ‘scientific and objective’ rather than humane and relational. The essence of including relational practices in therapy is imperative, because everything with anything and anybody is a relation-ship.
